Fleurs de Lis
The development, "Fleurs de Lis", hopes to bridge the two neighborhoods of
Benton Park and Benton Park West. The building will be divided
into three parts connected by skybridges on the upper floors. 3)+
condo units will be included in the four-story buildings, including
one-bedroom condos up to penthouse suites. Estimated prices will
be between $150,000 and $400,000. Retail will occupy the first
floor, with such possibilities as a restaurant, a dry cleaner drop off,
and a coffee shop. The retail will open to the street as well as
between the buildings along the plaza, allowing for outdoor seating and
public gathering spaces. Parking for the living units will be underground with additional parking and retail parking at the corner of Arsenal and Texas. The alley (the Texas facing side) will be
more contemporary, while the Jefferson side will be more traditional in
design. Balconies will possibly be in most of the condos and facing
both east and west. Public artwork is expected along the walkway
connecting the parking lot and the retail areas.
