​Cherokee Neighborhoods Happy Hour

Thursday, August 27 from 6:00-8:00 pm, Johnny Walkers San Loo, 3211 Cherokee

Book Making at McKinley Meadows

Saturday, August 29 from 10-2 pm, McKinley Meadows, 2257 Missouri

In this FREE workshop participants will learn two basic book making techniques using the pamphlet stitch and leave with 2 small books of their own and instructions to make more at home. Festival of Nations 2015

Saturday, August 29 from 10-7 pm and Sunday, August 30 from10-6 pm, Tower Grove Park

A multi-ethnic celebration featuring dance, music, food, cultural and educational exhibits, folk art demonstrations, and craft market. Presented by the International Institute and 125 community organizations. The event will take place nearest S. Grand and Arsenal. A free shuttle service will be available throughout the Park. www.festivalofnationsstl.org

St. Louis Swap Meet

Sunday, August 30 from 10:00 am-3:00 pm at the Lemp Brewery, Cherokee @ Lemp

Nutrition Classes

Monday, August 31 at 5:00 pm, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah

Curby Church will host nutrition classes on Mondays until September 18. These sessions are FREE. For more info 314-771-0242.

Zumba Classes

Free Ceramics Class

Saturday, September 5 from 2:00-4:00 pm, Intersect Art Center, 3636 Ohio

Taught by MFA Raleigh Gardiner, classes run Sept 5-Dec 12. You do not have to be present for all classes; feel free to come check it out at any time! This class will be loose in structure, but will include hand building as well as wheel throwing techniques with lots of time for experimentation, practice, and in-depth learning as students desire! Benton Park Concert Series
