Happy Thyme: A Garden Club for Seniors

Fridays from 10:00-12:00 pm, Salvation Army, 2747 Arsenal

The Happy Thyme Garden Club is open to all seniors interested in gardening, whether you're a certified green thumb or looking for a place to learn something new. We'll meet at Temple Gardens, located across from the Salvation Army on Fridays at 10 am. Questions? Call Sara Johnson at 314.606.7794

Perennial Planting Party - BPW Flower Garden

Friday, May 6 at 4:00 pm, BWP Community Flower Garden, 2800 Wyoming

We've been awarded perennials for the community flower garden by Gateway Greening! We'll reinvigorate and beautify the flower garden. We will need volunteers to help plant the 100 perennials. Please plan to bring your own gloves and tools. Ideally, spades, shovels, and hand trowels would be needed. For more info, please visit our Events page or the Facebook Invite.

Eric Mayer Opening Reception

Friday, May 6 from 7:00-10:00 pm, South City Art Supply, 1926 Cherokee

This is another First Friday gallery event at South City Art Supply! We'll have all the goodies, drinkables, and sharp wit you're used to.Eric Mayer is taking over our atrium gallery with an exciting solo exhibition. Eric's drawings are inspired by underground comics, but don't think he doesn't have plenty of new things to say. His collages feature pleasant scenes ruined by grotesque creatures. And there will be plenty of graffiti & pop culture inspired merch for sale. Plus, there's a special surprise for all you Rick & Morty fans out there. Facebook Invite

Cinco de Mayo - Cherokee Street

Saturday May 7 from 11:00-9:00 pm, Cherokee (between Ohio and Nebraska)

St. Louis' largest Cinco de Mayo festival will have three stages hosting music along with vendors on Cherokee between Texas and Nebraska Ave. The People's Joy Parade kicks off at 1:11 pm. For more info, please visit cincodemayostl.com

Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sunday, May 8 from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Zumba Classes

Mondays, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah

Greater Gravois Park Neighborhood Association Meeting

This is the monthly meeting of the Greater Gravois Park Neighborhood Association. This month our guest speaker will be 20th Ward Democratic Committeeman Candidate Glenn Burleigh, and we will open the floor for discussions about nuisance properties and the new 20th Ward Demolition Court. Come on over and enjoy the spring air on our back lot! There will be food, drinks, and dancing to keep us busy all evening. Feel free to invite everyone you know!
