Benton Park West Neighborhood Association Meeting

Thursday, October 20 at 7:00 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Please join us to hear the neighborhood news and have a chance in interact with your neighbors, 3rd District police, aldermen and NSO. We will review upcoming events and activities. Nebula Open (School)House

Terror at Tower Grove Park

Friday, October 21 from 5:30-8:30 pm, Sons of Rest Pavilion & Stupp Center, Tower Grove Park

This event is open to all ages and will feature live music by Soul Punch, food trucks, candy, arts and crafts by Artscope, a costume contest, a pumpkin painting contest, a Halloween film by Frontyard Features, s'mores, and more! EAGLE Prep's Fall Festival

Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Zumba Classes

Mondays, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah

Curby Church will host Zumba classes on Mondays at 6:00 pm for $3-5.00 a session. For more info 314-771-0242.

Marine Villa Neighborhood Association End of Year Party and Election

Monday, October 24 from 7:00-9:00 pm, Spare No Rib, 3701 S Jefferson (NEW LOCATION)

Please join us for our end-of-year neighborhood association meeting/party. We are grateful that our new neighbors to the West, Spare No Rib, have been so incredibly gracious to host this event. They are opening for us on their day off and providing the delicious food, so let’s show them some Marine Villain love with our support of their bar. As many of you know, our last meeting of the year is election time. Our current board members, Secretary Maureen Hoeft, Treasurer Michael Ferguson, Vice President Andrea Janes and President Stephen Jehle were nominated at our last general meeting to serve another term. 21st Annual SLACO Regional Neighborhood Conference

Saturday, October 29 from 7:45 am-5:30 pm, Harris-Stowe State University

The annual SLACO Regional Neighborhood Conference is the St. Louis region's premiere event for helping grassroots neighborhood leaders learn about how other neighborhoods are creating innovative solutions for common problems, how to run an effective neighborhood association, how to think about the causes of neighborhood improvement and decline, and recent plans and initiatives that offer new ways to understand the region and new hope for successful initiatives. Benton Park West Dog Park's Howl-O-Ween Party

Saturday, October 29 from 10:00 am - 12:00 pm, Benton Park West Dog Park, Nebraska at Utah

Benton Park's Halloween Kids Parade

Saturday, October 29 at 3:00 pm, Killeen Architects Studio, 3015 Salena

Bring the kids in costume and we'll march from Killeen's up to Fremont Park. We'll stop at St. Agnes for safe trick-or-treating with the senior citizens.

Hallow-Ganza in Ritz Park

Saturday, October 29 from 6:00-9:00 pm, Ritz Park, 3147 S. Grand

Trunk or Treat

Sunday, October 30 at 4:00 pm, Salvation Army Parking Lot, 2720 Arsenal

Benton Park West will hold its annual Trunk or Treat, a safe Halloween trick or treating for kids. Children ages 14 and younger are welcome! Each child must be accompanied by an adult.
