Town Hall Meeting: What's Happening on Your Block

Thursday, December 8 from 6:00-9:00 pm, Froebel Elementary School, 3709 Nebraska

Dutchtown and Gravois Park will host a town hall meeting to discuss crime, problem properties, illegal alley dumping, and budgets. Speakers include Alderman Cara Spencer, NSO, and Police Captain. Consider attending and encourage your neighbors. Facebook Invite

Pikazo Holiday Happy Hour + Coat Collection

Friday, December 9 from 5:30-8:30 pm, 3449 S Jefferson

Join the Pikazo team for drinks, snacks, photos, and art to celebrate the season! We're be collecting coats to donate to those in need during the upcoming cold weather. We'll be serving beer, wine, and a few treats. Feel free to also bring a drink or a snack if you'd like something specific (along with your new or gently used warm coats.) Books & Breakfast Program: Happy Dolla Days - Supporting Black Businesses

HandsUp United presents Books & Breakfast which has been successfully happening for over 2 years. If you know someone who hasn't came to our program , please invite them. This month we are focusing on Black Businesses & how the impact of the community supporting them. So our theme is Dolla Days for this holiday season. Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Timebanking 101 in December + Mats for the Homeless

Sunday, December 11 from 2:00-4:00 pm, Thomas Dunn Learning Center, 3113 Gasconade

This free class introduces participants to the history of early trade and barter, the history of timebanking in St. Louis where the first timebank formed in 1981 and the history of Cowry Collective the only active timebank in St. Louis! You will also receive hands-on training in hOurworld, the software and app where you can create a bio, list your offers and requests and can search for service exchanges that interest you. 3rd District Police Officers' Christmas Party

Thursday, December 15 from 6:00-9:00 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal
