Zumba Classes

Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah

Curby Church will host Zumba classes on Mondays at 6:00 pm and Thursday at 1:30 pm at $5.00 a session. For more info 314-771-0242.

Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting

Thursday, March 17 at 5:30 pm, Nebula, 3400 S. Jefferson

CSBA Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Benton Park West Neighborhood Association Meeting

Thursday, March 17 at 7:00 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Please join us to hear the neighborhood news and have a chance in interact with your neighbors, 3rd District police, aldermen and NSO. We will review upcoming events and activities. 3rd Friday Happy Hour

Friday, March 18 from 5:00-7:00 pm, Saint Louis Hop Shop, 2606 Cherokee

Every third Friday of the month join Nebula and friends as we mingle, network, and hang out while we celebrate the end of the work week. Come out and have a drink on us! Curby Church Family Movie Night

Curby hosts a FREE Family Movie Night, of inspirational and encouraging movies, every 3rd Friday @ 7:00 pm with FREE popcorn, hot dogs, snacks and water. For more info 314-771-0242.

BPW West Corner Garden Work Day

Saturday, March 19 from 9:00 am-1:00 pm, Juniata at Gravois Planter

Weather permitting we will meet at the round planter at Juniata, Minnesota and Gravois. We will prune the roses, weed and clear out the spent plant material. If you have gardening tools, please feel free to bring 'em along. We can use clippers, gardening shears, loppers, rakes, household dynamite, etc. The weekend flea market has raised the profile of this planter so enhancing its appearance will be a positive reflection on our neighborhood. Benton Park West Dog Park Work Day

Saturday, March 19 at 9:00 am, SE corner of Utah at Nebraska

RVSTL Rehabbers Club Property Tour of Benton Park West

The BEST Trivia Nite in St. Louis

Satruday, March 19 at 6:30 pm, German Cultural Society of St. Louis, 3652 S Jefferson

The German Cultural Society Youth Group announces the 9th Annual THE BEST TRIVIA NITE IN ST. LOUIS, featuring Trivia Quiz Whiz, “Buzz” Ullrich. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Trivia begins at 7:00 pm. Maundy Thursday (Last Supper) and Communion Worship Service

We'll begin with serving dinner at 6:30 pm, fish (baked and fried) and salad. You must RSVP by email curbychurchpastor@gmail.com or phone 314-771-0242, so we'll have enough for all attendees. Five Star Senior Center's Annual Fish Fry Fundraiser

Friday, March 25 from 11:00-7:00 pm, Five Start Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Serving from 11:00-7:00 pm, if you know of a business or building that would like deliveries of 5 or more dinners we can make that happen. As always we are looking for help in the form of fish fryers, servers, delivery persons, kitchen help, clean-up, cash donations, and especially desserts to be donated. If none of the volunteer opportunities fit, plan on coming in or get a carry-out lunch or dinner. We need customers to make this event a success. Thank you for your assistance in serving the needs of the Seniors of St. Louis.

Gondo Poetry 35: Mark Levine and Emily Wilson

Please join us for the 35th reading in the gondo poetry series, featuring: Mark Levine and Emily Wilson. Mark Levine is the author of four books of poems, Debt (1993), which was a National Poetry Series winner; Enola Gay (2000) and The Wilds (2006), both from University of California Press; and Travels of Marco, out this spring from Four Way Books. Emily Wilson is the author of three books of poetry, The Keep (2001) and Micrographia (2008) from University of Iowa Press, and The Great Medieval Yellows (2015) from Canarium Books, as well a limited-edition book, Morpho terrestre (2006), which includes prints by Sara Langworthy.
