Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting

Thursday, May 19 at 5:30 pm, Nebula, 3400 S. Jefferson

CSBA Meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Taco Encampment Grand Opening

Thursday, May 19 from 6:00-8:00 pm, The Luminary, 2701 Cherokee Join us for the opening of a pop-up exhibition entitled Spaces of Appearance, performances and the Taco Encampment in which Tug will be making and sharing tacos with the public. Facebook Invite

Spring Planting at Flag Median

Thursday, May 19 from 6:00-7:00 pm, Broadway at Chippewa

We have several trays of flowers provided by Brightside ready for planting at the Flag median. Bring gloves, shovels and hand tools. Please sign up to come 'play in the dirt' and add beautiful color to the Marine Villa neighborhood for this summer. Facebook Invite

Benton Park West Neighborhood Association Meeting

Thursday, May 19 at 7:00 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Please join us to hear the neighborhood news and have a chance in interact with your neighbors, 3rd District police, aldermen and NSO. We will review upcoming events and activities. Happy Thyme: A Garden Club for Seniors

Fridays from 10:00-12:00 pm, Salvation Army, 2747 Arsenal

Come explore the intricacies of Nextdoor.com, review site navigation and learn about forming groups. Presenter: Michael Powers, Legislative Director to Mr. Lewis Reed and Nextdoor Expert. IndiHop 2016

Saturday, May 21 from 1:00-7:00 pm, Various locations on Cherokee

IndiHop is a unique event showcasing two of St. Louis' most eclectic neighborhoods; Benton Park West/Cherokee Street and The Grove. Participating businesses in both neighborhoods will provide 50 unique beers for your sampling quest. Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sunday, May 22 from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Zumba Classes

Marine Villa Neighborhood Association Meeting

Monday, May 23 at 7:00 pm, Irish Corner Pub, 1900 Cherokee

Our monthly neighborhood association meeting held the fourth Monday of every month. Happy hour starts at 6:00 pm meeting at 7:00 pm and we keep it concise. Come out and meet your neighbors, they are a lot cooler than you think! Find out what is going on in your neighborhood and how to participate in community activities that have a positive impact. If you would like to share something with the neighborhood, message us and we will get you on the agenda.

20th Ward Neighborhood Assembly III

Thursday, May 26 from 6:30-8:30 pm, Peace Tabernacle Church, 3514 Oregon

20th Ward Residents, your neighborhood is about to embark on a process that will allow you to help decide how to spend $100,000, in city funds, for neighborhood improvements. Participatory Budgeting is a process that allows neighbors to come together and help make decisions on how tax money is allocated in a specific area. Through brainstorm sessions and voting, residents get to choose how money is spent. Attend a meeting so you can help decide how the money should be spent!
