Summer Drop-In Program

Thursday, August 16 at 12-3 pm, Salvation Army - Temple, 2740 Arsenal

Cats N' Mats Yoga

Saturday, August 25 at 8 am and 9:30 am, Tenth Life, 3202 Cherokee

Tenth Life Cat Rescue is partnering with Central Studio in their upcoming event the Barre Hop. Tenth Life will be hosting two yoga classes taught by Ami Amore from 8-9 am and 9:30-10:30 am on Saturday August 25, 2018. Saturday Morning Read Along

Saturday, August 25 at 11-12 pm, Apotheosis Comics & Lounge, 3206 S. Grand

It's like story hour - but with (kid-friendly) comics! We're breaking out our new reading rug and picking the most fun book of the week to read! Aims Moon Paperie Pop Up Shop

Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Sidewalk Seats: Community Work Day

Sunday, August 26 at 11 am-2 pm, Perennial, 3762 S. Broadway

Perennial is excited to work with Dutchtown South Community Corporationto implement "Sidewalk Seats" a community art project to create public seating from salvaged furniture! The seats created through this project will be installed along Chippewa Street in late September.We invite you to drop by the shop and lend a hand on Sunday 8/26 between 11am-2pm. We'll be teaching folks basic furniture repair and refinishing skills that you can try out on some of the seating for the project. Come for a little bit or for the whole session to pick up some new skills and contribute to "Sidewalk Seats!" Facebook Invite

Concert in the Park: Leslie Nillisen and The Occasionals

Sunday, August 26 from 4-7 pm, Benton Park, 3100 S. Jefferson

Admission to summer concerts is always free. Food and drinks can be purchased at the event, but feel free to bring your own. Proceeds benefit Benton Park Neighborhood Association.

Marine Villa Neighborhood Meeting

Monday, August 27 at 7-8 pm, Irish Corner Pub, 1900 Cherokee

Free Hugs Tour Concert with Bryan Royle
