Nebula's Free First Friday

Friday, November 2 at 10 am-4 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson

Stop by Nebula for the day on Free First Friday! Bring your laptop and enjoy our shared workspaces and free wifi. At 10 am, we’ll provide free Gooseberries bagels and coffee from Kaldi's Coffee Roasting Co. to sustain your productivity. No strings attached, we just want to help you get stuff done!Free parking is available across Jefferson (next to Byrd & Barrel). Gravois Park Spruce Up

Saturday, November 3 at 9-12 pm, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Time to spruce up Gravois Park! Cleaning up the pavilion, preparing the plants for winter and general cleaning duties. We will be joined by some local college students but please come out. Then more people we have the more we can get done! Facebook Invite

Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl

Saturday, November 3 at 12-8 pm, Cherokee

The 7th annual Cherokee Street Jazz Crawl returns' to one of St. Louis' most beloved streets. Over a dozen local acts will represent St. Louis' array of jazz styles and beyond. Free dance lessons will be available throughout the day, and we're also excited to feature a St. Louis Bop Set, including a lesson a dance, with The St. Louis Bop Preservation Society in the evening! Metro Trans Umbrella Group Headquarters Open House

Saturday, November 3 at 3-7 pm, BPW - RSVP for specific address

In early 2018 our organization was given he wonderful gift of a house. We were able to centralize services and host most of our support groups here. We have also been able to create and maintain a free food pantry and a free toiletry pantry. We provide unhoused services and support and we are well on our way to have a free upscale clothing store ! We want to share this with you all. Come join us in our space. German School Association's 6th Annual Trivia Night

Empty Bowls FUN-Raiser

Sunday, November 4 at 2-5 pm, South Broadway Art Project, 3816 S. Broadway

Join us for the 2018 Annual Empty Bowls FUN-raiser! 100% of the proceeds raised provide scholarships for TAP - FREE Teen Apprenticeships! The SBAP Gallery will feature "The Teen Apprentice Art Show", Empty Bowls Chili Cook-OFF in the Pottery Studio, and a Fashion Show Inspired Pop-Up Shop in the "Upstairs Sewing Studio". Guests are invited to purchase a one-of-a-kind Empty Bowl made by teens, local artists, instructors, and volunteers. Donations for drinks and LiVe music! Noontime 30 minute Community Yoga every Wednesday!

Wednesdays from 12-12:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson

Energize yourself with a 30 minute All-Levels Yoga break each Wednesday at NOON! One of our dedicated teachers will guide you through a dynamic, moving meditation paired with specific breathing techniques to help relieve and unravel the stress and tension inherent in our daily modern grind. This is a yoga experience open to beginners and seasoned practitioners alike. A perk for members, and $5 suggested donation for non-members. We have plenty of mats + blocks, but feel free to bring your own if you have one.

Tenth Life Cats N' Mats Yoga

Wednesday, November 7 at 6-7 pm, Tenth Life, 3202 Cherokee

This is a completely open-level yoga class. You only need a mat and a love of cats to participate! And we have a couple of mats if you don't have one. Curious kitties will be meandering about whilst we get our stretch on. Peter & Paul Community Services' Race for Home 2018

Saturday, November 10 at 9 am, Tower Grove Park

Race for Home is Peter & Paul Community Services’ annual 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Walk in beautiful Tower Grove Park. Race for Home originated as a humble 30-person run along the riverfront, and has since grown to include close to 600 participants. Runners and walkers are welcome to enjoy complimentary breakfast and beverages, including fresh fruit, coffee, and hot chocolate. Participants then take off for the race, guided by our well-defined trail, and have a chance to win prizes at the end.All proceeds from this event benefit Peter & Paul Community Services’ eight programs and aid in our mission of solving homelessness.
