Midnight Special + Red Herring

Herbalism at Home book signing

Sat, March 14 at 1–3 pm, Flowers & Weeds, 3201 Cherokee We are proud to present and support author and herbalist, Kristine Brown, RH(AHG) at a book signing of her latest book Herbalism at Home. Kristine is local and showcases herbs easily foraged around your own yard or while out hiking a trail. This is a free event. Herbal tea and treats will be provided. Kristine will have books on hand. Noelle Wagner Art Exhibition

Sat, March 14 at 6-9 pm, Cherokee Street Gallery, 2617 Cherokee

We are hosting an opening reception for our exhibition of artist Noelle Wagner on Saturday 3/14 from 6 to 9 PM. Noelle will be sharing a diverse body of artwork ranging from stitched collage works and assemblages to sculptural masks. Wagner is a dynamic and multifaceted artist who draws on her professional experience with costume design and textiles, plus she runs a non-profit, sustainable, historical farm in St. Louis called; Grown and Gathered Heirloom Farm. "I often refer to my art as a productive meditation," Wagner said. "The pieces come together, mostly by way of shape, color and shadows. I get lost when I'm collaging, often surprised as anyone at the finished product." BPW Litter Clean Up + Social Hour

Sat, March 21 at 9-10 am, One Night Stand, 2800 Ohio

Join us as we start our monthly litter clean-up + social hour this month! This is a great opportunity to meet neighbors and enjoy the architecture of our beautiful neighborhood while picking up litter!We will be starting outside One Nite Stand and walk around the neighborhood from there. Our aim is to bring the community together to share ideas, methods, positivity, and learning. We encourage any and everyone to attend, whether you are a seasoned songwriter with wisdom to pass along, visual artist seeking inspiration, poet wanting to put your words to music, instrumentalist wanting to put words to your compositions, or simply a patron out to share in the collaborations.
