Happy Thyme: A Garden Club for Seniors

Fridays from 10:00-12:00 pm, Salvation Army, 2747 Arsenal

The Happy Thyme Garden Club is open to all seniors interested in gardening, whether you're a certified green thumb or looking for a place to learn something new. We'll meet at Temple Gardens, located across from the Salvation Army on Fridays at 10 am. Questions? Call Sara Johnson at 314.606.7794

Printmaking with Plants

Saturday, August 6 from 12:00-2:00 pm, McKinley Meadows, 2257 Missouri

We will create decorative pages for our cookbooks by using plants as stamps. The paint that we will use is washable, but sometimes making art gets messy. Yard Sale Fundraiser for City Kitties and Pharah

Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Black Cinema Club, Feature: Afro-Punk

Sunday, August 7 from 3:00-6:00 pm, Blank Space, 2847 Cherokee

"Afro-Punk" is a documentary exploring race identity within the punk scene across America and abroad. The film focuses on the lives of four people dedicated to the punk rock lifestyle, interspersed with interviews from scores of black punk rockers from all over the United States. The interviews cover issues of loneliness, exile, interracial dating, black power, and the dual lives led by people of color in communities that are primarily white. IT'S FREE AND OPEN TO ALL!!! Zumba Classes

Mondays, Curby Memorial Presbyterian Church, 2621 Utah

Gravois Park Neighborhood Association Meeting

Tuesday, August 9 at 6:00 pm, 3353 California (former Jefferson Bank Bldg)

Come out and meet your neighbors, get involved and be informed. Our monthly meetings are a great place to discuss issues important to you and your family, learn about resources and get updates on everything in and around Gravois Park and the 20th Ward.

Puppy Pool Party

Wednesdays at 5:00 pm, Benton Park West Dog Park, 3300 Nebraska

Each Wednesday through Labor Day (weather permitting), we'll host a pool party for the pups! Let your dog cool off while you socialize with the other members. Foos and Brews
