After the Party: Halloween 2017 in BPW

Howl-O-Ween

This year's Dog Park Howl-O-Ween included a shoe drive. Held on Saturday, Oct 28, two totes of shoes were collected for the Shoes For Shelters program. Guests could have their picture take with their dog and a contest for favorite pet and owner shot was done.

Central West End Vet contributed the 1st place basket, Yellow Dog Grooming donated a 50% off spa package for 2nd place, and our Cherokee Street's Master Pieza donated a 14" pizza for 3rd place. The Christmas party and pics with Santa coming soon.

Trunk or Treat

The annual BPW Trunk or Treat was held on Sunday, October 29 in partnership with the Salvation Army Temple Corps.

Expanded this year, Trunk or Treat also offered a carnival of games and food. Guests were given ticket for a hot dog, popcorn, or cotton candy.

Face painting was also offered along with games.

Trick of Treat on Cherokee

Cherokee Street Development League, along with support from community members hosted Trick or Treat on Cherokee Street on Tuesday, October 31. Families and kids were provided a treat bag, map and candy from volunteers at locations throughout Cherokee Street and trick or treat at participating businesses including The B-Side, Yaquis on Cherokee, Artist Art, The Whiskey Ring, Mesa Home, Earthbound Beer, Bluefield Process Safety, LLC, Propaganda STL, WJL Companies, Angel Boutique Resale Shop, The Palm Trees, La Vallesana (The Taco Stand), Bespoke, St. Louis Jewelers, Elaine's and Teatopia. Volunteers will be handing out candy outside, at 2846 Cherokee Street, 2822 Cherokee Street, 2753 Cherokee Street, 2635 Cherokee Street and 2604 Cherokee Street.
