STL Young Professionals Happy Hour

Third District Community Outreach Meeting

Thursday, March 8 from 7-9 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Guest Speaker: Chief John Hayden, Police Commissioner. During the meeting, you’ll be able to ask questions of the guest speaker, Captain Shawn Dace, and other officers. They will also share updates and other information about crime and safety in the district. Facebook Invite

A Toast to the Southside: DSCC 45th Anniversary Celebration

Friday, March 9 from 5:30-8:30 pm, Marquette Park Field House, Virginia and Gasconade

Join us for a "toast to the Southside" as we celebrate 45 years of neighborhood development in Dutchtown, Marine Villa, Gravois Park, and Mount Pleasant! We'll have live music and art, craft beer, specialty cocktails, and a chance to honor the neighborhood champions who exemplify the Spirit of South St. Louis. Saturday Morning Kids' Art Class

Saturdays from 10-11:30 am, Messiah Community Center, 2801 Magnolia

In this weekly arts program young people ages 7-13 will learn various art techniques from across the world. Teaching artists from Yeyo Arts Collective will guide students through multiple medias including but not limited to collage, painting and sculpture! SLMPD Explorer Trivia Night

Saturday, March 10 at 6 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

The parents and alumni of the St. Louis Police Explorer Post invite you to our decades themed trivia night. M.C. will be Mike Colombo, Fox 2 News. Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

How to File to Run for Office

Sunday, March 11 from 4-5 pm, St. Louis Workers' Education Society, 2929 S. Jefferson

Do you want to know the basics of how to file to run for office? You are not alone. We will discuss how to file, where to file, how to start your committee, and what other things you might need to do all this. This will be a casual group discussion with lots of time for questions. Laughter Club

Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting

Thursday, March 15 from 5:30-6:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson

CSBA meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm and covers events, updates and information regarding Cherokee Street, Cherokee Station Special Business District and Cherokee Street Development League. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee Street are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Auto Buying: Eliminate the Hassle and Worry in Buying Your Car

Community Clothing Swap

Sunday, March 18 from 1-3 pm, Perennial, 3762 S. Broadway

Perennial's Community Clothing Swap will be hosted at our shop! Each clothing swap is set-up like a department store (all shirts in one spot, all pants in another, etc.). You bring clothes you no longer want (but are still in fine shape) and take home new-to-you items from the swap. DOOR FEE:$10 (with clothes to swap), $15 (empty handed).
