Cherokee Station Business Association Meeting

Thursday, June 21 at 5:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson

CSBA meetings are held on the 3rd Thursday of each month at 5:30 pm and covers events, updates and information regarding Cherokee Street, Cherokee Station Special Business District and Cherokee Street Development League. All business owners, residents, property owners, and anyone with an interest in Cherokee Street are welcome and encouraged to attend. Facebook Invite

Benton Park West Neighborhood Meeting

Thursday, June 21 at 7-8 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

BPW Litter Clean Up + Social Hour

Saturday, June 23 at 9 am, Community Garden, 3101 S. Jefferson (at Arsenal)

Help beautify our neighborhood and meet your neighbors! Each month we will be cleaning up a different area of our neighborhood. These clean up days will be the Saturday's following the BPW neighborhood meeting. Trash bags will be provided from Operation Bright Side. Feel free to bring gloves or anything else as needed. Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

Marina Villa Neighborhood Meeting

Monday, June 25 at 7 pm, Sister Cities Cajun, 3550 S. Broadway

Please join us for our March MVNA general assembly meeting at Sister Cities. Join in the community engagement with your Marine Villa neighbors and learn about ways to get involved in our community. Messages from Mercury

Cherokee Street Gallery presents it’s first official art opening with a reception. The show is titled “Messages From Mercury” and features artwork by the gallery’s founder, Benjamin Lowder. Lowder says, “our inaugural show’s title draws from the mythological idea that the planet Mercury, being the closest planet to the sun, functions as the messenger between worlds and presents itself to human beings as the mythological character Hermes. This archetypal character deals with language and travel, functioning as a scribe to communicate the source of creation’s will to humanity in order to guide as on the right path.” Facebook Invite

Tenth Life Young Readers Club

Young readers, aged 6-15, and their parents/legal guardians are invited to join Tenth Life's Young Readers Club by visiting Tenth Life on Cherokee bi-weekly in June and July to read to our storefront cats. *We do ask all visitors to sign a visitor waiver and read our storefront rules upon entry.
