Messages from Mercury

Cherokee Street Gallery presents it’s first official art opening with a reception. The show is titled “Messages From Mercury” and features artwork by the gallery’s founder, Benjamin Lowder. Lowder says, “our inaugural show’s title draws from the mythological idea that the planet Mercury, being the closest planet to the sun, functions as the messenger between worlds and presents itself to human beings as the mythological character Hermes. This archetypal character deals with language and travel, functioning as a scribe to communicate the source of creation’s will to humanity in order to guide as on the right path.” Facebook Invite
Tenth Life Young Readers Club

Young readers, aged 6-15, and their parents/legal guardians are invited to join Tenth Life's Young Readers Club by visiting Tenth Life on Cherokee bi-weekly in June and July to read to our storefront cats. *We do ask all visitors to sign a visitor waiver and read our storefront rules upon entry. Benton Park West's largest fundraiser, we will sell beverages at Fair St. Louis. We will need beer pourers, drink runners, and sellers. We need your help!
