Nebula's Free First Friday

Need a change of scenery from your usual workspace or coffee shop?Stop by Nebula for the day on Free First Friday! Bring your laptop and enjoy our shared workspaces and free wifi. At 10am, we’ll provide free bagels and Kaldi’s coffee to sustain your productivity. Saturday Morning Read Along

It's like story hour - but with (kid-friendly) comics! We're breaking out our new reading rug and picking the most fun book of the week to read! Gravois Park Trash Pickup and Social Hour

Sundays from 9:30-10:30 am, Gravois Park, 3200 Potomac

Each Sunday, get to know your neighbors and help make YOUR neighborhood park a better place to play! We'll pick up litter in and around the park while talking and getting to know each other.

CDDB Community Charity Annual Meeting and Tea

Sunday, September 9 at 2-4 pm, Five Star Senior Center, 2832 Arsenal

Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and a "biscuit" or two as CDDB Community Charity shares all about the charity. You'll learn how and why the charity was formed, how we raise funds, and what we do with those funds. You'll also learn all about our newest initiative! Guardian Angel Groundbreaking Ceremony

Wednesday, September 12 at 10 am - 12 pm, 3300 S. Jefferson

Nebula's Noontime Community Yoga

Wednesday, September 12 at 12-12:30 pm, Nebula, 3407 S. Jefferson

Energize yourself with a 30 minute All-Levels Yoga break each Wednesday at NOON! One of our dedicated teachers will guide you through a dynamic, moving meditation paired with specific breathing techniques to help relieve and unravel the stress and tension inherent in our daily modern grind. This is a yoga experience open to beginners and seasoned practitioners alike.

A perk for members, and $5 suggested donation for non-members. We have plenty of mats + blocks, but feel free to bring your own if you have one. Cherokee Street Community Market

Cherokee Street Community Market is more than just a farmers market, its a celebration of community! The City Greens Market Supa-Fresh Veggie Mobile will be full of local fruits, veggies, meat and dairy products. Guardian Angel Settlement Association will distribute free produce, Operation Food Search will distribute free bread. There will be samples and music and ALL THE GOOD THINGS!
